NEW Teign River Singing Group – Yes You Can Sing!  🎶

For Women & Men and everyone else, keen children welcome with a participating adult.

This is the singing group you’ve been waiting for! A fun, relaxed, inclusive and totally no-pressure space for anyone who would like to find or develop their singing voice and experience the joy of singing together in harmony. 

No need to read music and no previous experience required. We will work on simple songs from around the world, taught by ear, with parts to suit all abilities from novice to accomplished and at a pace that everyone can follow. There is always something you can contribute no matter your level or confidence, even if you want to stick to body percussions – come and try it out! 

We will build up a repertoire of songs that you will then always be able to sing, alone or with others. We will also work with tools and exercises to develop breathing technique for voice control to help you improve your singing voice, skills that will help you feel relaxed and connected in other areas of your life as well.

Singing brings joy to the heart, creates connection and bonding, and is good for health and happiness.  💜

The aim of the group is first of all to enjoy the sound we create and the gifts that singing brings. And when we feel ready to, to share our songs at community events too.

SO If you’ve always dreamt of singing but were told you couldn’t, come and discover that you can! And if you already know you can sing and would love to share it, come and enjoy your special part to shine in harmonies and solos. And if you’re somewhere in between, well that’s just right too. 

FREE Discovery session on Monday January 10th – 7pm to 9pm – Bridford Village Hall

Thereafter £8 per session (children £6) – Bookings per term.
