To all people, little or old! Come and join us for an afternoon of Christmas & Solstice Magic followed by a Procession of Light lead by a Christmas pony. 

We will start in the barn with Storytelling to warm the heart and share the Orange Ceremony of Love & Light together. The ponies will whisper to us the secrets of Christmas and we will learn the song of Light. Then we will make magic with our hands by preparing costumes and lanterns and paint our faces – ready to follow a pony who knows the magic to bring Light and warmth to the hearts of people through the village.

A family event to reconnect to our hearts among the horses, for little people and grown-ups alike.

Children under 15 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Entry is FREE (Donations welcome!)

Limited numbers, subject to Covid guidelines.

PROGRAMME:  

1:40 - 2pm Welcome to Horse & Heart

2 pm - Orange Ceremony

2:30 pm – Pony Whispering, Storytelling & song   

3:15 pm - Crafts & Face painting

4 pm - Procession of Light through the village

5:30 pm - Good Night & Blessings. 

The event takes place outdoors so warm and waterproof clothing is advisable.

Please also bring:

- An orange for each person (or other round fruit)

- A glass jar for each person (to make a lantern)

- A flask of something hot to help stay warm and some snacks (no alcohol please)

- A blanket and a torch.

 

Please stay Covid aware – hand sanitiser is available onsite but please do also bring your own as well as face coverings. We're having to limit numbers to respect social distancing so please book your place for attendance and let us know if you can't make it. If we need to cancel due to Covid restrictions or for other reasons, we'll let you know, too!
